This review will cover this week and last week, because I was out of town again. Considering how many days this covers, I really haven't played much at all. I have picked a new game to work on, but I have not had the time to sit down and work on it. So that game is still a mystery!
- Dave the Diver (PC - Steam)
I continue to plug away at this comfort food of a game. I have come back to this game many times since its release and I have not beaten it a single time. There is something so relaxing about diving for fish by day and restaurant management by night. It appeals to the video game fisherman in me and the business management tycoon at the same time. I have unlocked the fish farm for breeding. I have unlocked the rice farm for growing my own rice (currently). I'm somehow almost finished with the first month of the game and have only scratched the surface of Chapter 3. I'm just content to dive and upgrade recipes for the most part. I'm enjoying a much more leisurely pace through the game overall.
- Pokémon Blue (Gameboy Color)
I have dusted off my Generation Nuzlocke (Genlocke) and pushed Gen forward. These are the rules I decided to follow. Standard Nuzlocke: 1st Encounter Per Route, Faint is Death, Everything is Nicknamed. I will not catch Duplicates, so first new species per route. This creates a bit of an unfair advantage, but once an evolution line receives XP on my team, it is locked out forever. This forces new Pokémon if old ones die. I cannot use Legendaries, but I can catch them. I remain on Switch Mode, but I cannot use HP healing items in battle. Status cleaning items that do not restore HP are allowed. So far, I have claimed my 3rd Badge with no deaths with Bulbasaur, Rattata, Spearow and Nidoran (F).
- Tales of Seikyu (PC - Steam)
I have a thing for cozy games like this. That thing is starting them and playing through a season or two and then never coming back. It's a really peculiar habit of mine. The list is endless and the weird thing is that I really enjoy them all in the limited time I spend in that world. I bought this one on launch day, though, because there is something special about it to me. You get to play as a fox! I can fish and be a fox? Yes, please. So far I think it's cute and I'm enjoying it. The character creator was pretty limited, but the character is cool looking either way. You gain mastery over numerous transformations which help you explore and cultivate the land. Right now I have access to Human, Boar, Slime and Fox. I'm still in the Spring season churning out turnips and potatoes.
Games I Need to Finish

- Yakuza Kiwami 3 / Dark Ties
